How the board works
A leaderboard for iPhone and Android games from small studios. Nobody pays for anything. Ever.
Listing a game
- Paste one App Store or Google Play link. We pull the title, icon, developer and description from the store. That's all we accept:
apps.apple.comandplay.google.com. - Every new listing starts with 1,000 credits.
- One listing per store page. If your game is on both stores, list one, wait 10 minutes, then list the other.
- iPhone visitors see the iOS board. Android visitors see the Android board.
Credits
- The board is ranked by credits remaining, highest first. Ties go to the older listing.
- Every tap on a game opens its store page and spends one credit. Getting attention costs you, so nobody camps at #1.
- Only one tap per person per game per day counts. Extra taps still open the store; they just don't spend anything.
- Every listing gets +27 credits a day, so a drained game floats back up on its own.
- A game at 0 credits is still listed and still opens; it just sits at the bottom.
Earning credits by sharing
- Every game has a share link. Send it anywhere.
- When a new visitor arrives through your link and taps any other game, your game earns +27 credits.
- Each visitor counts once per game, ever. Your own visits don't count.
- Anyone can share any game's link, not just its developer.
Lucky #27
- Every so often, at a random moment between 27 minutes and 4½ hours after the last one, we look at spot #27 on each board.
- Whoever is sitting there becomes the featured game, pinned at the top until the next draw.
- While featured, taps on that game are free. They open the store and cost nothing.
- With fewer than 27 games on a board, the lucky spot wraps around (with 10 games, it's #7).
- A game can't be featured twice in a row; #28 takes it instead.
- We never show when the next draw is. That's the point.
Who qualifies
- Games only, from small studios. We check at submission time:
- Google Play: the public download count must be below 100,000 (a "50K+" badge or lower).
- App Store: Apple doesn't publish downloads, so we use ratings as a proxy: no more than 1,500, and the developer has no more than 25 apps on the store.
- Well-known publishers are turned away regardless.
- See a big studio slipping through, or something that isn't a game? Use the flag on its row. Flagged listings get reviewed and removed without notice.
- Listings with no share activity for 60 days are archived. A share that earns credits brings them back.
Fair play
- We use Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots out, and we count one tap per visitor per game per day.
- We never store your IP address, only a one-way hash of it.
- Illegal, malicious, deceptive or adult listings are removed on sight.
